In my wedding photography, I try to capture in interesting ways the honesty, emotion, beauty, and humor of the moment. This work is 'photojournalistic' in nature in that it's characterized by an equal number of color and black & white images, a deemphasis of posed compositions, and an unobtrusive presence.

Weddings are by their nature beautiful: people are joyous, bodies are moving, the emotions are deep, the colors are fantastic. Perhaps what I do best is stay out of the way of all this while knowing how to artfully document it.

Of course, I work entirely for the client and will make every effort to meet the couple's wishes, which often include a series of post-ceremony portraits featuring the couple, family, and friends. Prior to the wedding, I meet with my clients as many times as necessary to ensure their wishes and sensibilities are fully understood.

The process of choosing a wedding photographer can be confusing. The "right" choice is about a style connection and personality fit. I welcome the chance to meet anyone interested in my work.
