I have done portrait work of children, artists, families, professionals, musicians... The flavor of portrait work I do is entirely dependent on the client and the client's wishes. Beneath or behind every pose lies something unique to each person and family; it's this 'something' that so fascinates me about photography.

Because my taste runs against studio portraits, my portrait work is done on location, often at a favorite spot (mine or yours). My clients will often want to collaborate on a location choice; this choice becomes a big part of the finished result.

Sometimes I will spend several hours at a client's home and will photograph the subject or family in both posed and non-posed situations. My clients and I have found that this can offer an ideal setting for interesting portraiture.

Currently, most of my portrait work is based in the Pacific Northwest. I am available for travel.
